Fixated on freeing her grandfather, music slowly consumes Beatriz's life. Soon she finds her self growing obsessed with perfection at the expense of her friendships, her band, and her health.

Jose Pimienta was raised in Mexicali, Baja California, and now resides in Los Angeles, CA where he works on comics and storyboards for animation and film. Suncatcher is his debut author/illustrator graphic novel.
