About the Author

Laurie Ann Callihan, Ph.D. received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego Christian College in El Cajon, California. She received her Ph.D. in Science Education as a University Fellow at Florida State University. Her publications include REA's CLEP(R) Biology with Online Exams and other REA titles and journal articles.

David Callihan earned a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics from San Diego Christian College in El Cajon, California. He teaches physical science and mathematics at Bishop Hall Charter School in Thomasville, Georgia. He began his teaching career at DeSoto Middle School in Arcadia, Florida, where he was recognized as the top-performing teacher based on AYP results.
